The astonishing adventure begins
Ellie and her friends leave home one morning, wave goodbye to their parents, and head up into the hills to camp out for a while; seven teenagers filling in time during school holidays.
The world is about to change forever.
Their lives will never be the same again.
Would you fight? Would you give up everything?
Would you sacrifice even life itself?
- Summary -
Ellie and seven others decide to go camping one week to fill up the last of the holidays, but this time they decide to go further...up Tailors Stitch and into the isolated basin of Hell. One night Ellie wakes up to dozens of planes flying low overhead with no lights. Everyone thinks it's the Wirrawee Show, but they joke about the start of World War III.
Ellie's, Homer's, Robyn's, Kevin's, Fi's, Chris' and Lee's lives will never be able to survive.
